Our Services
Compassionate Support for Your Journey to Parenthood
At Luciano's Light, we specialize in providing free and low-cost legal services to Florida families and beyond who have experienced child loss, stillbirth, or miscarriage. Our experienced attorneys understand the unique emotional and legal challenges you face, and we're here to guide you every step of the way.
Adoption involves many complex legal steps to create the parent-child relationship between you and your child. Our knowledgeable attorneys handle all aspects of the legal adoption process, with fees drastically reduced or eliminated entirely through our charitable mission.
What We Provide:
Complete legal representation throughout the adoption process
Expert guidance on adoption laws and procedures
Document preparation and court filings
Only expense to you: filing fees and court costs (which we may be able to cover in some cases!)
Beyond Legal Fees While legal fees are just one component of adoption expenses, we recognize that home studies, agency fees, and birth mother expenses can add significantly to your costs. That's why we've formed partnerships with:
Psychological professionals who perform home studies
Adoption agencies who specialize in matching birth parents with adoptive families
Other service providers in the adoption community
Through these relationships, many of our clients receive reduced fees for these essential services.
For Birth Mothers If you're considering placing a child for adoption and would like to be matched with a family who has experienced child loss, please contact us. While we're not an adoption agency, we can provide resources to help facilitate connections with eligible families.

Comprehensive Legal Support
There's a profound connection between bereaved parents and those who struggle with infertility. Often, the same health issues that make carrying a pregnancy to term difficult can also cause birth defects or conditions incompatible with life. Many parents have invested thousands in fertility treatments, only to face the heartbreak of miscarriage, stillbirth, or infant loss.
Expert Legal Guidance Surrogacy allows you to use your own genetic material (or donor material) to create an embryo that's carried by a gestational surrogate. Our attorneys are passionate about surrogacy law and have extensive experience navigating the legal complexities involved.
Our Surrogacy Services Include:
Surrogacy contract negotiation and preparation
Contract review and legal consultation
Guidance through Florida's surrogacy laws
Assistance with legal parentage transitions
Support obtaining amended birth certificates
Only charge: filing fees and birth certificate costs (which we may cover!)
Getting Started with Surrogacy If you have already identified a surrogate or are working with a surrogacy agency, contact Luciano's Light to begin work on your surrogacy contract. Our experienced attorneys understand the emotional complexity of surrogacy arrangements and will ensure all parties are legally protected throughout the process.
Cost Structure Similar to our adoption services, legal fees for surrogacy contracts are drastically reduced or eliminated entirely for qualified families. You'll only be responsible for minimal filing fees and costs associated with obtaining amended birth certificates when your baby is born and legal parentage is established. In many cases, we can assist with covering these expenses too!

Understanding Your Journey
ART law is the vehicle through which our attorneys generate contracts that help create miracles for families. The science of assisted reproductive technology has enabled families to add children when nature struggles to produce a healthy pregnancy on its own.
Understanding ART Options Embryo, egg, and sperm donation can be essential when a woman's eggs aren't healthy, a man's sperm isn't healthy, or when a same-sex couple needs genetic material to create an embryo. Young, healthy donors can provide their ova or sperm, or couples who have achieved pregnancy and have remaining embryos can donate fully formed embryos to families in need.
Our ART Legal Services Include:
Embryo donation contracts and legal guidance
Egg donation agreements and donor protection
Sperm donation contracts and arrangements
Legal protection for both donors and intended parents
Guidance through complex ART legal requirements
Support for same-sex couples and fertility-challenged families
Contract review for all types of reproductive arrangements
The Process Using donated reproductive products, couples can proceed with transfers to the intended mother's uterus or use the services of a surrogate to carry the baby to term. Each situation requires careful legal documentation to protect everyone involved and ensure a smooth process toward bringing home your rainbow baby.
